R.I.P. Buddy

It was a sad day in the Kofoed house the other day, we lost our betta fish of almost 2 years. Buddy had to take the dreadful porcelain plunge, that flush of the toilet truly broke my heart, the little guy will be missed. On a good note we got a new fish haha, his name is Charlie and we hope he likes his new home :]] Too bad Charlie isn't a kitten thogh (Scott Chase is a mean landlord.) Oh well.

6 Months!

6 months ago today I married my best friend. I can't believe how fast time has gone by! I am the luckiest girl in the word, I got to marry my dream guy and have my dream wedding :]] Love you so much GareBear.

Job Search

Ok, so if you didn't know I have been looking for a job for the past two months. I really REALLY want a job working in a school with kids, either being a tutor or a teacher aid. BUT, no such luck with that so far so the other day I decided to apply for a bunch of "normal" jobs. The problem is I don't know what I want to do! I told Gare the other day that when I was little I always wanted to work at Subway (because they bang the condiment containers, and get to throw a bunch of stuff on a sandwich.) Haha, but that isn't so appealing to me anymore.  I have also always wanted to waitress, I think it sounds kinda fun, something everyone should try before they die haha, but I am not 21 yet and that is a problem for most places. So I just looked around and applied for things that sounded sort of fun and went for things like; JoAnns, Starbucks, Khols, and things like that. Eh, we will see what happens.

Happy Valentines Day!

I love valentines! Probably because my valentine (Garett) is the best most sweetest guy ever :]] I gave Gare his gift last night when he got home from work because I was just so excited to give it to him. I gave him an apple T.V. and this. . .

52 reasons why I love you :]]

Isn't it just the cutest? It is 52 reasons why I love him on a deck of cards (I wish I came up with this idea all by myself but it I stole if from Carolyn and many other blogs.) I took the deck of cards to staples to get them bounded together and the people gave me the weirdest looks, and when I explained it was for a cheesy valentine craft they gave me even weirder looks haha! I love it though, probably more than Gare does :]]

And when Gare came home from class today he arrived with a dozen red roses and a 32 pack of coke! Man he knows me all to well. He also gave me these pretties. . .

Nails

So if you know me at all you would know that I have a slight addiction to nail polish. Specifically the O.P.I. brand. Well Katy Pery came out with this super cool collection with 4 cute colors and this awesome SHATTER polish. I am in love! It is so awesome look!

The Help

Alright I finished The Help the other day and I absolutely loved it! I am so excited they are making it into a movie, and guess what?! Emma Stone plays Miss Skeeter! I love her, I can't wait I hope it will be as good as the book, or almost as good :]] Anyway, now I am on to my next book, I have decided to read Uglies.

Happy Wednesday

Wednesday has always been one of my favorite days of the week. I think it started back when I was a kid when we had "Grandma Dewey" day. All the girls in the family would get together for lunch at her house. I don't remember much from these days I was only 2-3 years old, but I do remember there always being gold fish for me to eat and the smell of her house. After she died we kept the tradition alive and instead went out for lunch with the girls. As I got a little older I would look forward to Wednesdays because I got to see the cousins and Grandma Christensen would give me and Caden a two dollar bill :]] I am so glad we have kept with this little tradition, and because I have night classes this semester I get to go again. I am so blessed that I live close to most of my family and I get to see them every week!

Weekend Fun

This weekend was full of all things fun! Drill team, family, friends, and food :]] What could be funner? On Friday my mom and I went to the state drill team competition. It was so much fun! Of course the Minerettes looked amazing and grabbed yet another state title (congrats again girls), but it was also so much fun to catch up with my old drill girls. There is nothing better that catching up with old friends.

Then on Sunday we had a good old fashioned Superbowl party. We crammed 8 people into our tiny living room (Cam and Megan, Deidra and David, Car and Brent, and Us). Gare made yummy jalapeno poppers and potato skins and I made cake balls, can you believe it? I made something! And they were a hit haha :]] Brent and Car brought lil' weenies and spicy chicken, and Deidra and David brought tex mix and special K bars! YUM! The game was alright I was rooting for the Packers so I guess its good they won, but my favorite is definitely the commercials. My favorite was the one with the little Darth Vader haha. We had a very fun weekend.
