Hello Friends!

Hello! It has been such a lovely day! My amazing mom did my hair today, now it is pretty and I even got some feathers! I also have been hanging out with my love. We started to watch the Harry Potters, we want to watch them all before the midnight show! Whoo we are excited <3 HP! I also made a skirt today! I followed THIS tutorial, it turned out cute, I will post pictures of all the stuff I have been making soon :]] Then Gare and I went to dinner and to Winco and when we were walking out to our car we saw this beauty. . .

We also saw the new Transformers yesterday! I really liked it, it was way better than the second one. Gare was upset that the new chick in the movie was wearing her high heals through all of the action scenes, and that her white shirt stayed perfect the whole time haha, I didn't even notice he is a goofball :]] Anyway, it was still a good fun movie. And that's all folks!

Summer Storms

I love summer thunder storms! It smells so good, all clean and fresh and it cools things down a bit in our lil' apartment. We have no AC so we gladly opened the windows, and are currently listing to the boom of the thunder and the trickle of rain :]] I love it.

My Country Tis of Thee

Happy 4th of July every one! I hope everyone had a fun and safe weekend! We sure did, Gare and I did some BBQing with the Hirzes and went to see the Stadium of Fire fireworks! They were awesome and we even got a whole game of Phase 10 in while we were waiting for the show! Today we had a lovely picnic in the park before Gare had to go to work. Then I headed to Salt Lake to spend the rest of the day with my family! I have also been singing "My Country Tis of Thee" the whole weekend haha!

I am so proud to be an American! I love this country and am so thankful for the amazing men and women who fight and have fought for our freedom. God bless the U.S.A.!

Remember when Gare shot a crazy firework at me? All of these new legal crazy fireworks are scaring me! Everyone be safe!!

I found this lil' quote and laughed because it is so true! Just today we were talking about how I always used to get stuff stuck in my hair or get it tangled up in something and my mom would always send me to my dad to fix it :]] I also remember having so much fun on Saturdays with my brother and dad, we would do all sorts of crazy stuff that might have consisted of eating ice cream for breakfast! My dad is the best most sweet and funny man around and I am one lucky girl to have him as my pa :]] Love you dad!

Lagoon!

The wonderful Deidra and David Law took us to lagoon this week! We all went along with Brent and Carolyn and we had a blast! It was a perfect day to go, the weather was just right and it was a Tuesday so the crowd wasn't too bad.  Deidra and Dave have never been before so it was fun showing them around the park, it brought back lots of memories from when we used to have our family reunions there. The only down side was we didn't get to go on the new ride :[[ It was temporarily closed. Oh well everything else was fun. Here are some funny pictures. . . .

Rattle Snake Rapids and the Log Ride were hilarious we got drenched and had so much fun! Gare was a party poop he "didn't wanna get wet" so he stayed behind and took these funny pictures for us :]] Thanks Deidra and David for the fun day!

So I finally finished this series, and I loved them! Basically they are about this future society and everyone gets this operation when they turn 16 to make them "pretty". It is basically just craziness I wonder what our world really will be like in a couple hundred/thousand years :]] Anywho I would highly recommend them they are fun easy reads. I think I am going to read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo next, any thoughts or suggestions?

Down in the Dumps. . .

So I have been sorta down in the dumps lately and just all around a Negative Nancy. Yeah, not so good right? Now this could be because it is around that time of the month (girls you know how I feel right?). Anyway, the other day I stumbled upon this. . .

Now, I have seen this little quote before but it sure does make you think. I have got it pretty darn good! So whenever I am feelin' down or negative imma take a look at this blog post :]] I am truly blessed, I have a warm cozy bed a roof over my head and amasing family and friends by my side!
