Our Adventures :]

Remember how Gare and I have been married for a whole year now? So crazy but we go way back, more like three years haha. I didn't have a blog then so a bunch of our adventures have never been documented! So I am going to make an awesome photo gallery of all of our past adventures :]] Get ready for some pictures ya'll, I will be starting from when we first started dating in December 2009.

Our 3rd date, we finger painted and watched a movie :]] I had to go back to school in Cedar City after this.

Gare and Tommy came to visit us in Cedar right after Christmas break! Garett asked me to be his "girlfriend" and I said no :[[

I finally said yes and we were "official" on January 18th, 2009. Get ready for lots of driving back and forth from Cedar to Provo.

We celebrated our first Valentines Day together in St. George and got pedi's to celebrate :]]

G visited me in Cedar and we saw Allred play at SUU. Later this night G got really sick and I took good care of him.

I came up to Salt Lake and we saw Vanilla Ice and M.C. Hammer in concert.

Took a trip to Moses Lake WA to meet the fam (oh man things are gettin' serious), and G introduced me to his favorite place to eat :]]

While we were in WA (spring break) we visited Seattle.

G's family was in town for Easter. We had to take Kallie to the doc.

Summer break! Gare took me to see Kelly Clarkson :]]

My 19th birthday, the summer is coming to a close :/

Labor day camping with my family. I decided to move closer to G and go to school at UVU, goodbye cedar city!

Another spring break in WA. These were taken in Leavenworth. We told Gare's family plans on getting married on this trip :]]

April 1st he purposed :]]

April 24th, 2010 I was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints :]] It was amazing, even more amazing that Gare was the one to baptize me!

And then a couple months planning for our beautiful wedding! August 16th, 2010 I married my best friend :]]

Welp, I think that pretty much covers it! I sure do love my boy.

Nooooooooooooo!

I am so sad summer is almost over! Grr :[[ I go back to work next week and Gare starts school too. Then the week after that it is back to school for me as well.  I have a feeling we are going to be very busy! Haha. So for the next couple of days I will be doing all of the sleeping in, crafting, enjoying the summer sun, and lounging around that I can!

Happy Anniversary!

I can't believe we have been married for a year! It has gone by so fast, and I have loved every adventure with Gare thus far. To celebrate our first anniversary we stayed a night at the cute little bed and breakfast we stayed at on our wedding night called The Castle Creek Inn. We had a blast and it brought back so many memories of our wedding day. We stayed the night on the 15th and then for our real anniversary we spent the day in Park City (where we honeymooned), and ate dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak house! It was delish, seriously my favorite place to eat and worth every penny. I love Garett so very much, I am one lucky girl to have found him. I love his sweet tender heart and his goofy personality. I can't wait for the years to come with my best friend :]]

I Love Sundays!

I love Sundays, and my new calling as a sunbeam teacher! I love being with the primary, I look forward to it every week! Teaching and preparing my lessons aren't even that bad, in fact not bad at all! I love it, I am learning so much. Its kinda like I am getting the primary experience I never had growing up. The Lord really knows where each of us need to be :]] The primary kids are sooooooo cute and funny! Haha I am going to start keeping track of the funny things they say on this handy dandy blog.

LAST WEEK:

J age 3: "hey, whats your name again?"
"Presley Kofoed" (I am not a fan of sister Kofoed hahaha)
"oh, Presley, thats a great name. . .  I love it"
J also told me that he wrote the scriptures.

J age 3: Sees Garett points to me and asks him "is this your love?"
How cute is that? J and M are twin brothers by the way.

B age 4: Randomly in the middle of the lesson "my mom choked on a vitamin yesterday"

THIS WEEK:

(with the group, talking about modesty)
K age 5: Teacher says, "What do you guys think dressing modestly means?"
K raises hand and says, "It means covering your bum and boobies"

(lesson on forgiveness)
J: I ask "J how do you feel when someone wont share toys with you?"
"Well, I fell like I should put them in jail"

Haha, I love it!

The Zoo

On Wednesday the gang decided to venture to the Hogle Zoo! We had fun, I haven't been to the zoo for a long time. We chose like the perfect day, it was mostly over cast all day and so nice :]] Here we are. . .

It was fun to be with the Hirzes and the Law's, especially because Deidra and David are leaving us so soon! We will miss them :[[ Some of the highlights were the elephant show, the bird show, the cool dinosaurs they have around the park, and my favorite the giraffes! The bird show was so cool! I kept thinking about my mom and how much she would be freaking out if she were there haha, and how one time we went to the zoo with my cousin Lizzy and a bird pooped on her head! Oh, and can I just say that giraffes are so strange! They look like aliens or something, but they are like so regal and majestic. They freak me out, they are so cool!

I am 21!

 

I am finally 21! Look at that cute cake my sweet Gare made me :]] I had such a good birthday! I skipped class and had lunch with G, then we came home and decorated my cute princess cake, then we went to dinner with my mom, dad, Cade, and Ali, then went and had cake and ice cream with the whole family! Oh and I also got some pretty sweet presents. Gare gave me a cute new purse from Target (after he gave it to me he made me throw away 2 old purses) I might have slight addiction. My mom and dad gave me this really nifty wallet, I love it! The Hirzes gave me a cute bamboo plant from Ikea (every time I go to Ikea I always want one). And then I got some money from the rest of the family, oh and a gift card to JoAnn's! I am one lucky girl, that's for sure! Check this out. . .

Haha after our family party Gare and I thought it would be funny to go buy some beer for my dad, since I just turned 21 and all. So we went to Walmart and got some but then the lady at the check out didn't even card me! That sort of took all the fun out of it, I guess I just look really old or something? Oh, and I also bought some CTR stickers for my primary class :]] I promise I am a good Mormon! Haha, I had fun and I am so glad I got to spend my birthday with the people I love most!
